Dog hit by car on I-244 near Sheridan exit This dog was running in the eastbound lanes of I-244 around the Sheridan exit. She did get hit by my car but I was able to stop and it was not seriously injured thank goodness. I stayed behind her with my flashers on until I could guide her past the concrete railing. I whistled and she came right to me all happy as if she hadn’t just been hit by a car. She is adorable and incredibly sweet. She had no collar or harness on. 35-45 lbs. Her nails have been trimmed but it’s been awhile. She has had puppies likely in the last year. She appears to be well fed so am hoping someone didn’t just abandon her. I took her home and left her in the care of my neighbor and will check for a chip when I get off work. Google says she’s a “Dutch Shepard” or “Bull Terrier mix” I will post her on next door and Facebook and won’t just give her to anyone. You must provide proof of ownership.
