Kashmir's Owner Says

Thank you to those who left advice and shared on different platforms. I've had her since i got out of the military and when she was a kitten. I placed the litter box on the second floor apmt patio and went out looking for at 2am. I went looking for her for about ten minutes shaking a food bowl, and when i returned, I found her on the first floor neighbors patio under where the litter box was placed. Once I called out to her, she ran up to me and completely ignored the food bowl. Here's a Pic of her on her favorite chair, ignoring the cat beds.

Please file a missing cat report with the Virginia Beach animal control. If the cat is chipped, make sure the registry has your current contact information. Visit the shelter several times a week. Cats been been missing for several months and still come home. Print flyers with your cats picture and your contact information and take them around to your neighbors, asking them to call you if they see your cat. Also ask them if they’ve been in their shed outbuilding or garage since your cat went missing. Cats go in those places to hide and feel safe, then if the door gets closed, they can’t get out. You can’t hear a cat crying to get out of a structure unless you’re standing right next to it. Go out after 10 PM tonight and walk around your yard with a bag of kitty treats and a flashlight, calling your cat.
