Update: personally walked into oakland spca. They sent animal control to pick up doggy from us to them. Since dog is not aggressive - it will have a good chance to get picked up by a shar pei rescue organization unless it has a chip and then naturally will get connected to owner. Thank you, everyone for trying to help. We named her Shi-Shi during the short time she was with us. I legit cried when the nice animal control lady took her away. ☹️.

Zita Molnar you would call it in to Oakland Animal Services. Or you can bring it to Oakland Animal Shelter (if dog is friendly enough).

Zita Molnar I called and left like 5 voicemails. She was near the freeway entrance and i freaked out. I tried catching her and she wouldn't let. Thank you for taking care of her.

Wow!!! She has traveled a long way! I have a 3 months old baby and can't have her much longer. My husband and I will try to put a leash or collar on her on Wednesday so we can take it to sf spca as it's a no shelter but if the owner could turn up would be the best. Hoping she has a chip. Oakland spca is useless and has not been responding. 911 says it's not their business. And Oakland non emergency hotline is also no help. We are going in circles. Any help or lead for the owner would be greatly appreciated.

This dog was roaming around 98th and Golf Links since last friday! It's legit the same dog. Someone must have taken the collar of or she did.

Oh my gosh yay! On Tuesday it came over the Fruitvale bridge into Alameda and animal control followed it trying to capture it for awhile but eventually it went back over the bridge into Oakland again. So glad she is safe!
