Sam Fern Here are some things we did when our cat got out that helped bring her home. 1. Spread your cat's used cat liter around the yard and surrounding areas (I know, sounds gross, but it works)! I honestly believe this was the most important step that helped guide my cat home. 2. Set up humane traps around the area your cat went missing (around/under your home, yard, etc). You can borrow traps from a local rescue or the Hawaiian Humane Society. Be sure to ask for guidance setting up the trap(s) if you are not familiar (ie line the bottom of the trap with newspaper and paint’s tape, cover the trap with a towel, placement of the food, etc). Even if your cat is friendly, they may be afraid to come out even when hearing your voice due to many other factors such as other animals in the surrounding area it may fear, etc. If you secure other neighborhood cats in the process, please have it scanned. It could be someone else’s lost pet. If it is not fixed, there are free clinics available through a rescue or @catfriends. 3. Tie a used piece of your clothing or blanket to your fence or vehicle. 4. File a missing pet report with the Hawaiian Humane Society. Have a photo ready to send, and they will post it on their website. Link: https://www.hawaiianhumane.org/lost-animal-report/ 5. If your cat is microchipped, contact the monitoring company and confirm your contact information is up t date. Call your vet or the organization your pet was chipped for information if you don't have it. 6. Ask nearby neighbors/businesses if they saw your missing pet and if they have surveillance cameras. Posting flyers will also help. 7. Walk around the neighborhood when it is dark calling out its name and shaking a bag of snacks (or any package that makes a similar sound). This is an important step! 8. Sam Fern Deep in the night when all is quiet Please go to your yard and sit in the garden and talk to him like he is next to you like you do when you are together talking about love and treats n hopefully you'll hear his meow and he'll hear your voice n hopefully will come out from where he is at 🙏🤍🖤✨️🙏

Sam Fern . Is he neutered n microchiped? Please also walk through your neighborhood not too far from home early morning and evening calling his name so he can track his way back with your scent n leave some of your worn clothes outside or by the gate and please don't give up Prayers for his safe return 🙏 Call call call his name for a good 20minutes every half hour n hopefully you'll hear his meow and the neighbors might of seen him too Beautiful furbaby ❤️ At night please look around your house under sheds and cars with a flash light so you can see glowing eyes in the dark N don't stop calling for him daily and nightly he might be hiding somewhere around in the bushes or couple of blocks away Also please follow these instructions n don't stop calling for him often He'll be back 🙏🐈🙏
