If he is an indoor cat, just make sure you searched everywhere inside in closets behind the sink everywhere if you do think that he got out he’s most probably afraid so get out and search every possible hiding place nearby even the smallest he also could be trapped somewhere and ask your neighbors to check their screened in patios, their sheds their garages Their backyards, etc. he may not come out without you finding him. I hope you find him safe.
