Get your post up on next door and neighbors by ring asap! That is where you reach the people in your neighborhood and your subdivision. Don't waste time posting on Facebook groups right now. You have to act quickly.

Put a box that says lost Frenchie with your phone number out by the street. I've been doing this for 13 years it's been my experience repeatedly that French bulldogs hardly ever make it off of the street they live on. I would start knocking on neighbors doors and canvassing your street heavily. Usually within 3 to 5 houses somebody grabs them and takes them inside. Then it's a matter of if they start looking for the owner or if they keep the dog. 8 out of 10 times they keep them. So it's important to knock on the door and maybe offer a reward. Remind people that pets are considered personal property in Arizona that means if you withhold a pet from their owner you are committing a crime under Arizona State law. And when the dog is worth over $2,000 it becomes a felony. I would start out nice but do not talk about how much you miss your dog and all that talk about how important it is you get your dog back he has health issues that are very expensive every month. He's not going to be a bonus to other people. It's very urgent that you find him blah blah blah. You want to make it easier for them to return the dog for some quick cash rather than keeping a dog that's going to cost them hundreds of dollars a month. Something like that.

A high % of Lost Pet cases are solved in their neighborhood!!! THAT'S WHERE THE SEARCH NEEDS TO BE! This is why the neighborhood apps work best. Post at least three times a day on both of them. Dogs: Many lost dogs are found within 1–2 miles of where they went missing, especially if they escaped from home. Depending on the dog's personality and circumstances, some stay within a few blocks while others travel much farther. Cats: Indoor cats that get outside are often found very close to home—frequently within a few houses to about 500 feet (150 m). Outdoor cats and more adventurous cats may roam farther, (usually within a block) but many are discovered hiding nearby. THIS WHY OWNERS SHOULD BE ON BOTH NEXT DOOR AS WELL AS THE NEIGHBORS BY RING APP POSTING THREE TIMES A DAY. AND PUTTING UP VERY SIMPLE FLYERS SO PEOPLE CAN READ THEM FROM 20 FT AWAY (a flyer doesn't work if nobody can read it): REWARD AMOUNT PHONE NUMBER ONE BIG CLEAR PICTURE OF THE PET. Don't even put lost dog on there. The reward is your attention grabbing headline. Get at least 40 Flyers up at the major intersections north south east and west of you. All four sides of the intersection. And at the exit points from your subdivision and the one across the street from you. Should take about an hour. Do more if you can but it's hot. The next day put another 40 up expanding your range by a mile.

Likely about 20 to 30% or less of your neighborhood. In extreme heat it's much less. ✅ Goal: To make the neighborhood aware that your dog is missing. ✅ Effective design: “LOST DOG” or “FOUND DOG” large and bold Clear photo Date & location Contact info ✅ Works because: The target audience likes animals and has a neighborly mindset to help others. 2ND TYPE: Bounty/Reward Flyer (With AMOUNT!) ✅ These matter to: finders/keepers/thieves ✅ Goal: Motivate those who are in it for themselves to give the pet back. ✅ Effective design: "$2-500 REWARD with the amount as the biggest text NOT LOST DOG NOT HAVE YOU SEEN ME Pet photo Large contact info ✅ Works because: It speaks to their greed. What's in it for them. It's easier to return the pet to the owner for cash, than to sell it on the street. They do not care that you are sad. Do not care about doing the right thing. This flyer needs to be very simple. Reward $200 Phone number ONE BIG picture of the pet They need to be able to read it from 20 ft away. Do not put lost dog, missing dog. Have you seen me? Do not share how much you miss your dog. The background story. None of that. These things take up too much space and a thief doesn't care how much you miss your pet.

Still can't find your pet? 1. Have you posted 👉👉three times a day on next door AND Neighbors by ring? (NOT THE RING APP) 👉👉 Have you commented on your post two or three times to get it going? 👉👉 Have you continued to comment for a few days so everyone in your neighborhood to see it? Or did you just post and move on to post somewhere else? 2. Did you put a reward in the first sentence? 👉👉👉With the amount? 3. Did you put a reward AND your phone number plus ONE BIG CLEAR picture of your pet on all the garages on your street? And the one behind your house? If that didn't work... 4. Did you call all the veterinarians within 10 miles of you to see if A PET MATCHING YOUR PETS DESCRIPTION was brought in injured or deceased hit by a car? 5. Did you call the local police department and ask for dispatch and see if anyone reported a deceased pet matching yours description for dead animal pickup? 6. Did you crop everything out of the picture but your pet and put it on Petco love lost?
