Message from Owner

She has a mole above her right eye. Considered a senior. Very friendly with anything and anyone. We have had her since she was a puppy. She is very loved! I let her out in the backyard not knowing a side gate had been opened.

Roger Rossitto many people don't know they have to register the chip. They think once its implanted its all set. Not every vet office educates or gives instructions that they need to register it.

Hi Everyone. My wife was the one that found her. We live down the street from Fresh Field Farms and this big chunky sweetheart of a dog came out of nowhere and ran straight into our home as my wife was bringing in groceries. She had no collar and was panting like she'd been running from Saturday nights fireworks for the past 2 days! It took her 40 minutes to calm down and when she finally did, she passed out and took a long nap! We have a smaller dog and couldn't keep her, so we took her to the no- Pet Alliance on John Young Parkway, but they considered her a stray and wouldn't accept her. So, we took her to the O.C. Animal Shelter near the Millenia Mall. They checked and she has a chip, but it was never registered to a person, phone or address. As soon as we got home I posted on NextDoor.com and now I see the Animal Shelter posted as well, which is great! When I got to work this morning I checked my email and there were a bunch of responses to my NextDoor post including a link to PaawBoost.com that had a missing dog post that looks just like her and said she was lost at Fresh Field Farms. I sent the owner a message thru the PawBoost link and feel confident that as soon as the owners check their email they'll head over to the shelter to get Bubbles and bring her home. So happy Bubbles' story will have a happy ending, but it makes you wonder why folks don't have collars on their dogs with ID, and why wouldn't you link your phone, name, etc. to the implanted chip?

() Please post to nextdoor app to alert neighbors Pawboost will blast all social media sites in area Place sign visible to traffic in front yard both sides of mailbox will work in a pinch Place fliers at all nearby crossroads for those not on internet Check with neighbors if they have security doorbell or footage to provide leads If chipped contact chip company and make sure all contact info is current Also post to 24petconnect Very important!!! Take fliers even if handwritten and go door to door, also place on all nearby crossroads On flier put pup description Location lost Phone number And ask neighbors to check security footage for leads If neighbors aren't home place fliers by mailbox or door Do this asap On and off internet visibility is key and time is of essence

I believe this is the same dog. She is currently being held at OCAS (Orange County Animal Services) in Orlando. I believe she is in the isolation building as well. All of her markings and information seem to match up as well.

I hope you are reunited with Bubbles soon! Here are some helpful tips for lost pets: 1. Add pet pics, pets name, date/time, location/cross streets pet last seen, gender, if spayed/ neutered, if microchipped, and wearing a collar or other type of ID. 2. Include your contact info and check for comments and private messages 3. Call 311 for Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) and report lost pet, https://search.app/aqFmANjE8maBVPAM8 4. Check 24petconnect website; includes pics and details of all animals in local shelters. https://24petconnect.com/ 5. Visit OCAS to see if your pet is there; they don’t post all incoming pets on their website. 6. Post same info on Pawboost website, Nextdoor and Ring apps. Also OCAS website - Lost/Found pet forum.. https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/de730145e91342c8aba50e90676b9572/? 7. Don’t assume everyone uses social media. Post Lost Pet flyers inside clear letter sheet protectors with pet photo, contact info, etc within a 6-8 block radius. 8. Contact local vets, including emergency vets, and businesses in the area. Provide lost pet info and distribute flyers. 9. If your pet is found, update your original posts.
