Loki's Owner Says

We've had a great response from the community and want to thank all the people who reached out, spread the word, offered advice, and helped us search for him. Loki is absolutely exhausted, and has been sleeping almost exclusively since we brought him home. His blood glucose level was extremely high, and he received his insulin in time. Thank you all for reuniting our family

Awesome you found him. Please keep him safe inside your home. Indoor cats live much longer and don't get diseases, injured by other animals, or hit by vehicles ❤️🙏

Please place his bedding 🛏outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a can of tuna 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Also vacuumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbo🖼picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Go early in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera 📹to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . Best of luck 🍀finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾

LOKI is adorable. Now let’s find him. He will be very nervous and likely hiding not far from your home. When you’re out searching this evening take a flashlight with you. The light will shine off his eyes and makes it easier to locate him. Look under every veranda and bush and any tiny place he may be hiding. Ask your neighbours to search their garage and under their porch or perhaps they will allow you to. He may have also climbed up a tree, so look there as well. Take a bag of treats and shake them while calmly calling his name. Put up posters and contact shelters in your area every 3 days to see if he has been turned in. If you haven’t yet gotten him micro chipped, please do, so should this happen again he can be returned to you. GOOD LUCK ❤

Give all details of your cat to the local postal sorting office and also to your own postman/postwoman. Posties are great as they go everywhere and see all. Good luck 🐈‍⬛

Hoping you find this puss😕❤️ Of course, this is Urgent! He needs his to survive. Go out looking for her/him at night when it’s quiet. Call and listen! for them to call back. He might not be very loud… … Go down laneways etc too - they could be trapped in a garage, injured & hiding, scared… Look in every small space : under stairs, a bbq cover, under bushes… Knock on doors & talk to people on the street - they may know of her/him - someone may have taken them in. Post on All Neighbourhood social media sites. Put up posters - drop as flyers in mailboxes. File a LOST report with Toronto/other Animal Services in case they end up there - continue to check their listings! Continue to call - they won’t necessarily call you. Also, check their ‘deceased animals’ listings 🥲 ⭐️⭐️Consider setting a well-monitored live trap in your yard. He may be too scared to come out but may be able to be trapped.⭐️⭐️(this often works) You may catch other critters that will need to be released. Keep looking! Don’t give up on her/him .🥰
