Message from Owner

Potentially injured! My clumsy boy fell out of my 2nd story window and I haven't been able to find him since. He is scared of people and hard to catch. Give me a shout if you see him and he will let me take him . Thank you ❤️

Start the calling method as soon as you realize your cat is missing. Call from where your cat went missing. Call it’s name repeatedly for 10 mins. Repeat that every 30 mins while shaking treats and listening to hear if it responds by calling back. Consistency is key. Your cat will likely be very scared and very close by. Use a flashlight when searching at night when it is quieter, as their eyes reflect the light when they are hidden in shrubs etc.

If this is an indoor only cat that never goes out, look close. Indoor only cats when lost get scared and hide because it is unknown territory and usually do not come out when you call. Usually are within 3 or 4 houses . Put out something with your scent such as a piece of clothing or blanket. Call at dusk, dawn and night and shake the treats. Get in your neighbour's yards and look under decks, sheds, in trees, bushes or anywhere they can hide. Put up lots of posters. If you are searching at night, use a flashlight as their eyes glow in the dark. https://www.facebook.com/watch/?v=388310901737884

Please place his betting outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing front and back door with a can of tuna on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Show your neighbors a picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call immediately. Go early in the morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Best of luck finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️

Get out and walk the blocks! Post posters in several blocks! They don't usually go far! Ask residents to look in sheds garages anywhere they can hide! Look up in trees where they go for safety! Look in bushes Join neighborhood groups! Best time to search is the middle of the Night 3-5 am Put a cardboard box with something with your scent outside! LOOK IN TREES! SHEDS GARAGES ANY ITEMS WITH A TARP on it

Many indoor cats return when it's quiet and dark usually between 9:00 p.m. and 6:30 a.m. so if it is possible, leave the door/window (or garage) open slightly for him to return. If you have any other pets secure them in a room for the night. This works well for these indoor cats that get out. Put out some worn clothing with your scent and keep calling for him frequently as he should hear your voice. Check your yard and ask your neighbor if you can check their yards/patios/bushes thoroughly with a good flashlight. Put up lots of posters with a large colored picture of him around your area. You can also purchase a humane trap at Rona, Canadian tire or on Marketplace. This method works well for these shy indoor cats that get out. Line the bottom of the trap with newspaper and cover the sides and top with a sheet...don't cover the back. You would have to Google how to set it up properly to trap a cat for best results.

Put an article of his favourite humans dirty clothing outside close to home and also where he was last seen. Search for him at dawn and dusk as this is when cats are most active. Keep checking local shelters vets and spca in case he has been found and turned in. Don't give upl❤❤

I’m so sorry about your missing pet. I know exactly how painful that feeling is because I went through the same thing when my pet disappeared. I felt completely helpless until I reached out to [ SKY WATCH AERIAL THERMAL DRONE PET RECOVERY ] Their team was amazing and truly cared about helping. Thanks to them, my pet was found and brought safely back home. I’ll always be grateful. You may want to contact them — they might be able to help bring your baby home too. Stay strong and don’t lose hope. https://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=61564832620201
