Crouton's Owner Says
Grateful for all the thoughts and prayers. She has been found safe approximately 1 mile away from where she went missing. Lost a lot of weight, but she is ok except for a few scrapes and bumps. Once she has a night to rest, we will get her for a full check up. Our foster home did such an amazing job getting posters out, knocking door to door, walking through the woods. We had zero sightings in the 9 days she had been gone. Yesterday we got our first call and it was a scam with an AI photo of her on a surgery ER table. Always be careful in your searches. Thankfully they didn't get any money, but it wasted valuable time. Again thank you for all your shares and concern. Now to getting her back to her recent weight, she may be back down to like 38lbs again, and she had finally gotten up to close to 50lbs after her time in our rescue. She is weak. She will get slowly fed and want her to feel safe again. She is still due a dental due to issues from her first home (breeder/hoarder).
