Can u put up posters everywhere not everyone uses social media.. also put litter box outside. Cats can smell their own scent from far away and follow it home

Sandra Slusarenko yes fixed eith tattoo, but I just got him off family so not registered to me yet. He is newly indoor outdoor... maybe a few weeks of supervising him outside and he was on his first week of going out alone. He'd been out no longer than a few hours prior to his disappearing. I also live cottage country, im worried someone thought he was stray and took him home to the city with them

Is he fixed with a tattoo? Indoor or indoor/outdoor kitty? Here's some tips you can try. Check under decks, sheds and bushes. Make sure your neighbours know in case he's shut into a garage, crawl space or shed - see if they can leave them open for awhile. Don't forget to look up high in case he was chased up a tree. Late evening, early morning - quiet times are great times to look. Don't yell for him (may scare him further), call in a normal voice. Read a book outloud or have a conversation outside with someone. Use a flashlight to look in dark spaces - his eyes may show up. Stinky food out WHEN you can watch it. Put something with your scent on outside. Put up flyers and posters, in case someone not on FB finds. I hope he's found soon.
