Also post on Petfinder and chewy . Com call local veterinarians and animal rescues shelters and animal control to let them know in case the owner calls inquiring about their cat. Post on Nextdoor app, Petfinder app,and pawboost app. The more the photo is shared the greater the chances of reuniting the owner and their furbaby. You could also ask your neighbors if it is their kitty or if they know who it belongs to . Also hang flyers in plastic sleeves within a 5 mile radius with your contact info on it. Please only give to someone who can prove ownership by vet records, photos with the baby and by itself and get a copy of the driver license/ state ID. Too many shady people out their that pose as owners then harm the animals or a lot worse such as dog fighting bait, torture or abuse them.
