Wanted to share these tips. Another social media is Craigslist. Check and post under their community section of lost and found area. Also any lost pets websites for your area. Some are: www.IowaPetAlert.com www.PawBoost.com AHeinz57 Missing Mutts (facebook) AHeinz57 Lost Cats (facebook) Lost Dogs Iowa (facebook) www.NextDoor.com Missing Pets (facebook) Put flyers around and let vet clinics around your area know. Go to your local shelters and check. Call your local animal control to see if they have pick him/her up and which shelter they took him/her to. If you have a garage put his/her food, water, litter pan and a box (or live trap) with his/her blanket or some of your unwashed t-shirts with your scent on them in it for him/her.
