Have you googled survival mode in cats? v long story short, my aunts cat was missing, he is a bolshy 5 yrs old v confident. He d been seen in someone's house. Up on a mezzanine floor ( no door to that space just stairs.) She went up called clanked his bowls shook biscuits. He never moved or meowed. 3 days later in desperation she and my cousin searched there again in the house. Nothing. He never let them know he was there. Day 7 house owner saw signs he was there. So he never let anyone know he was there, not even my aunt or cousin who he lives with. He was in survival mode. That just gives you an idea. Google it please it can be very strange . Good luck xGet on tummy look right under bushes close by. We had missing kitten. 5 people looked in massive bush near by. 6th person got on tummy went right in heard tiny meow. Another example escaped cat from carrier whilst at vets i went to help owners look seriously searched 5 hrs on hands and knees looking under all the undergrowth. In the end owner got in bushes (scratched to bits) cat was there collar caught on branch ! How we didnt see iti do not know but just shows gotta get on tummy get right in good luck Pls register as lost with chip co and check they have your details noted correctly
