There is no appointment needed to have The Dog scanned for a microchip, and there is no charge to do so. Also, if there happens to be an unregistered Microchip get all of the information they can give you because I have the most amazing person who most of the time can still find the owners even with an unregistered Microchip thank you for keeping this beautiful baby safe perhaps you can simply put a sign up near where you Found The Dog no description simply saying Dog found in your phone number. Let them send you pictures and information. Don’t give them any information. Let them prove it’s their dog. You wanna also post on Broward animal care and adoption because that is one of the first places and owner will look and if you have posted that their dog has been found and is safe, you may get that baby reunited quicker than you think. The other thing is putting the dog on a leash and going back to the point where you Found The Dog and saying let’s go home you would be amazed at how many dogs will lead you back to their house. I’ve had that happen many times.
