Danny Gray thank you. I left his blanket and cat tower outside and some of my clothes. So sad he still hasn’t returned. I’ll never stop looking!

Probably too late to help but I did the same thing and also scooped a couple of clumps and placed them around the property. It took almost two weeks but he found his way home and lived out his life seemingly happy to stay inside. Id still try it if you still have any of his old litter left (that would be gross but understandable under the circumstances). I hope you get your friend back. Best wishes.

Some things that might help kitty find its way home...put the litter box outside on the porch or in some bushes, put his favorite bedding and a scented piece of your clothing outside as well. The scents could help him find his way home. Look for him at night with a flashlight in bushes. The light will reflect his eyes, and open up some cat food while your outside so he can hear it and leave it in your bushes or on your porch. Setting up a live trap with food in it can also help. Put a towel or blanket over the top of it.
