Please file a missing cat report with Virginia Beach animal shelter. If the cat is chipped, please make sure the registry has your current contact information. Is at the shelter to see if your cat has been brought in. Tonight after 10 PM, go out of your yard with a bag of kitty treats and a flashlight. Walk around your yard calling your cats’s name and shaking the kitty treats bag. Look in the bushes with your flashlight to see if you see your cat hiding. Indoor cats rarely stray more than 5 to 7 houses from their own. Print flyers with your cats picture and your contact information and take them around to your neighbors asking them to call you if they see your cat. Ask them also if they have a shed outbuilding in our garage that they’ve been in since your cats been missing. Cats will go in those places because it makes them feel safe. Check porch, window decks and under any house that has an open crawlspace, where the cat could be hiding.
