Kimberly Hicks I totally understand your feelings. But I want to believe that he may have been visiting from out of town and got away from his person, or that the fireworks scared him and he took off. If his person comes forward, I will have the conversation with them about proper care of this pet. It seems to me that someone willing to pay for a breed-specific dog would want to keep it. That's the part that makes me sad - with so many shelter dogs needing homes, someone went to a breeder and bought a dog. 😔
