Set-up a Scent Station outside, with the owner's dirty clothes/tie socks to trees, etc. Try grilling out some meat... (You can also park near area seen, and trail food back to your car, (in the shape of spokes on a wheel. Say things like, "It's time to eat", and "Do you want to go for a ride?") Post also to Nextdoor; Put an Ad in the local newspapers; check Craigslist. Post Lost Dog signs in the area lost & seen, (in a 5 mile radius); Give Flyers to neighbors/Mail and Delivery people; ask to please check under sheds, decks, etc. Report lost to area shelters; check often in person, if possible.
