Message from Owner

You can’t miss Bobby - she doesn’t have a tail, has quick moves, and talks a lot. She takes walks along the sidewalk and will chit chat along the way. Curious and playful she likes hiding in any deep bowl, planter, or drawer and isn’t shy when announcing she’s brought a gift. She’s delightful and a joy, we miss her!! She went out the evening of July 18th for her usual bathroom break and she hasn’t been back.

I'm Bobby’s Cat Mom! We miss our baby. Please keep an eye out and share this with all your friends! If you can, please take a look around the outside of your home and look in your garage or shed to see if she’s hiding there.

Doris Gore, it sounds as if your adorable lost bobcat (manx) mackerel brown tabby cat is allowed to roam freely and failed to return home -- is that so? If Bobby escaped an enclosure, fence or the house and is lost in uncharted territory, please let me know and I will provide a different strategy for recovering her. Otherwise, try not to fear the worst -- Bobby may simply need some extra help getting home. Thoroughly search using a flashlight during the day and especially at dusk (when it's dark and quiet) to determine whether she’s ill or injured and hiding nearby, or stuck somewhere. Check every crack and crevice, look in outbuildings, containers, vehicles, under foundations, sheds and porches, into trees, etc. — call and listen carefully for Bobby’s cries (she may alert you to her location). And it’s important to ask neighbors to do the same and make sure Bobby didn’t hide and became trapped in a shed or garage, etc. Please see this list of step-by-step instructions developed to help others in this situation (click on the link to the PDF) and let me know if you have questions. https://www.dropbox.com/s/huk0d1p6euu74ug/OutdoorCat.pdf?dl=0&fbclid=IwAR2TiOBxtcgt8odNRjcoGicoHsGDWrw3K9N4ox0GATJh4qGdsFD6T6gaXFA In addition, this video explains the temperament and behavior of a lost cat — it may instill hope of finding Bobby. https://www. youtube.com/watch?v=g2eCoC63B9I Good luck. Please keep us posted on your progress.

Thank you for this good advice and prayers. We will go around tonight with a flashlight and that’s a great suggestion about the clothing.

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.
