Hey everyone 💔 Our Yorkie went missing today near the McCollam area. She ran away without her collar on. she’s a very shy timid pup. She’s 3 years old, brown and black, and we’re really worried about her. If you’re in the area, could you keep an eye out or ask your neighbors? Even a quick share on your local Facebook group or Nextdoor could really help.

Shared. Post on Nextdoor as well and check for updates on both websites. Not everyone checks social media, post flyers in the area. Include veterinary offices and pet stores when you post the flyers. Check the shelters frequently, both in person and online. File a missing report while you're there. Contact local rescue groups just in case. Good luck. 💖

Post to Nextdoor Check shelter website 24petconnect .com Help your pet smell their way home ~ take an unwashed article of the OWNER’S clothing (socks, sheet, underwear) and hang it in a tree, on a fence, a pole or edge of roof and put an article of unwashed clothing on the ground below. The wind will carry the scent. If there is another dog in the home take that dog's fresh poop and rub it on a rag and hang it high. Open your gates and/or the garage door, and turn on all the lights. Put a rug or towel on the porch with a bowl of water. Do not put the dog's bed or the dog's toys outside. The only scent we want is from the owners. Please do this ASAP. A dog can find its way back from miles by following a scent as they don't operate like humans on sight or sound. Put up flyers with large photo of your dog with legible phone number.
