Shadow was last seen on 8/12/26 at 7:39am. He was wearing a silver tactical collar with his dog tag/phone number listed. This is the first time ever escaping the yard and we have been searching for him since. On 8/18/26 I was advised that someone has spotted a dog matching Shadow’s description and that he was hit by a car and did not make it. This person provided me a phone number to confirm the deceased dog they found on side of the road. I was told told he has no collar nor no microchip when scanning. A person from HARRT reached out to me asking if I’m still searching for to my dog. I advised her the situation and she told me if my dog was chipped then it should’ve pulled up that he had a chip. Then the dog found on the side of the road is not my dog. So that give me hope that my Shadow is still out and we are still looking for him. If you have any information please reach out me.
