Put out some things that smells like their favorite or familiar people. Do not use a litter box as this may be a beacon to predators as much as the kitty. Don't forget to change out the articles of things so the scent is refreshed. Ask your immediate neighbors and surrounding streets by 5 to 10 miles out to keep an eye out in garages, sheds, crawlspaces, porches, basements, and if possible under any places. Kitties can fit into some very small areas

Put signs out at street lights and stop signs because people are not reading and writing info about traveling 30+ miles an hour open your slider door at night or whatever door they exited through put a bar stick in it so animals or larger animals and humans cannot intrude put food about 3 foot inside. If they’re an indoor only cat they’ll only be a house or two away. If it’s outdoor cat then they’re willy-nilly. You absolutely probably need to get a trap put some tune on a blanket over it usually get those from Cat coalition I think Humane Society and was that meal Cat and Houghton those places have free ones alone the other option is go out at night with a flashlight shake a bag of trees call softly, not loudly and look under porches, deck, foundations bushes, cars in wood piles and oven trees for eye reflection ask your neighbor Neighbors if you mind if you looked in their yard and ask your neighbor, if he could check the garage and sheds so he doesn’t get locked in, especially in this hot weather! Now here’s what I do it works wonderfully people poo poo because a wildlife. I didn’t have the problem we had more wildlife years ago than we did now well I don’t know they’re intruding with all the housebuilding, but put a used litter box and food outside your door Two cats. I had 10 years apart got out disappeared for two weeks and you got them back the very day I did that took me a while with the second cat to remember what worked if you’re worried about wildlife pull it in at night or when you leave the house so there won’t be an unexpected meet and greet if you don’t find it within a day don’t wait long because they put them up for adoption with 72 hours Check with and report to animal control Humane Society PAWS in Lynnwood Burien cares in Burien and homeward bound and Woodenville now those other ones seem far away, but if somebody’s driving by, let’s see your cat and Safeway parking lot they take off with it go home to their hometown. Your cat tries to get away now he’s lost in another city or if they turn them into a rescue in their area. Best of luck and let us know if you find them I live nearby. I’ll keep my eyes open!🙏🏻🤞

This site has good advice. Put out dirty clothes from the owner on your porch as cats can smell long distances and leave a door open. Walk around shaking treats and talking in a normal voice, but do NOT call his/her name. Play cat meows from YouTube & walk around day & night. This has helped find 2 cats! Hope he/she comes home soon. 🙏 Post neon flyers all around the area! Put out a cat trap if you know the area he/she may be and use an outdoor camera to make sure you are alerted immediately if he/she is caught. Walk around at night with a flash light too. Hope you find your kitty! 🙏❤️ The site is 3retrievers dot com
