🐾 Lost Cat Search Tips • Go out late at night and early in the morning with a flashlight. Call your cat’s name, then pause and listen carefully. If you don’t hear anything, keep moving slowly through the area. • Check hiding spots nearby, including: • Garages • Window wells • Under cars • Bushes and shrubs • Decks and porches • Talk to your neighbors and ask them to check their properties, sheds, and garages. • Place dirty laundry or familiar-smelling items outside your home to help your cat find their way back. • Contact your cat’s microchip company and report them as lost. • Check local animal shelters frequently—visit in person if possible. • Post on: • Facebook lost & found pet groups • PawBoost • Create flyers and posters with a clear photo and your contact info. Hand them out and place them in visible areas. • ⚠️ Do NOT put out a litter box, as it can attract other animals and may discourage your cat from returning.

Post Henry on the Nextdoor app that covers your area and there’s always lots of lost and found on there. Good luck I hope Henry comes home.

As we’re looking for our lost dog last night by the Aurora Reservoir Pump Station we thought we have seen cat eyes just peeking through bushes .. I cannot confirm anything since it was dark but just wanted to put this out there, hopefully that was your kitty still looking to get back to you .. 🥹

if you live near horseshoe park and I have for over 25 years, we have a well fed coyote population in that park, seen collars for cats but not their bodies....keep your fur babies safe
