***UPDATE*** Gomez is still missing with no recent sightings. Please call or text me if you have seen him, at this point I am extremely worried about his safety. My phone is often on do not disturb so please leave a voicemail if I don’t answer. Thank you to everyone for the words of encouragement and kindness during this hard time for me. There is a $200 reward if someone manages to catch him. Please check under the crevices on your property if you would like to help. He was hanging out on Hereford Avenue but he could be further away by this point in time.

***UPDATE*** There has been a sighting at the house diagonal to me. He is very clearly terrified and I have set up a feeding station with a trap over there. He was too afraid to eat but he seems unharmed physically so that’s good. Please do not chase him if you see him, I need him to feel comfortable enough in this area to take food and enter the trap. Fingers crossed my efforts pay off.

Indoor cats do not wander far. Your cat is probably hiding in your yard or a neighbors yard are very close by. It’s very important that you go outside several times a day and just talk to your cat like you do inside the home using your everyday talking voice. Don’t holler don’t yell don’t sound stressed. This will frighten your cat and your cat is already frightened because she’s in an unfamiliar territory. Crack your door and leave stinky tuna right inside the door and place a very, very dirty piece of your laundry on the front steps to attract your cat to your scent.
