Message from Owner

Outdoor kitty hasn’t been home for about 16 hours. My 9 year old daughter found her about a year ago outside and we brought her home. She usually always comes home with a whistle and doesn’t wander far. She is microchipped.

Get out calling Kitty's name especially early and late when it's quiet. Search for the flashlight high and low. Put up posters with number large enough to be seen while driving. And post on nextdoor com

***POST NEXTDOOR Check ✔️ Humane Society, Animal Shelters In-Person DAILY. Some Keep Pets 5 Days then put up for Adoption. Boots on the ground - Walk ur neighborhood check window wells, under decks, inside bushes, sheds, garages, dumpsters, under staircases. Indoor Cats don't go far, usually close by. Others hide during the day and roam @ night when it's quiet. Shake bag of cat food or treats, walking, calling by name, saying are u hungry, Bring a flashlight, search day & night. Knock on doors. Post Flyer's on neighbor's doors

I'm so sorry that Beefy is missing. Often they haven't gone far from the point of last seen so check with ALL of your neighbors!! Research shows that most cats are found within a 6 block radius of the point of last seen. Please ask your neighbors to check their sheds, garages, window wells, under porches, etc. anywhere she may have inadvertently been trapped. It's possible someone took her in thinking that she was a stray. Consider putting missing flyers in the neighborhood and on the doorstep of any neighbors you don't get to talk to. I've helped a few neighbors track down their missing cats. All of them were found just a few blocks away. Also check online at the found cats at the NoCo Humane Society. https://www.nocohumane.org/lost-found-pets/stray-cats-2/ Check daily because they are only on a stray hold for a short time before they can be adopted by others. Make sure that your contact information connected to her chip registration is correct! I've seen scammers replying to lost pet posts saying that they have found the lost pet. If you have to respond by messenger it is a scam. Praying that Beefy is home soon ❤️🙏 Here's a helpful resource: https://youtu.be/g2eCoC63B9I?si=nfyOzi00hC5SNFV
