Sunny Ghurl thank you. I will remove the other dog from our post. This rescue has threatened to sue me for speaking up and if they do, through the process of Discovery I will be able to request an audit of their intake and outtake records. They have been known to dump dogs as well as disappear dogs. I have a feeling they are not out there actively searching for Sunny or paying for a heat seeking drone every night because they already know what has become of Sunny. A heat seeking drone can also do a body county on their property (bodies who are still alive)

Camp Cocker Rescue I read what you guys had posted on your page. Thank you so much for feeling the same way as we do. We found Sunny and assumed he was a complete stray because he was not neutered and he even barked at our television when we brought him inside the house he acted like an absolute stray. He escaped our yard a week ago and was in the pound. We called the pound while he was still in Amador County, but the rescue had claimed him. I reached out via phone requesting if I could have them back and then I would pay the fee. I was told that the Board of Directors had to make that decision. I followed up two days later with a formal adoption proposal and was called 10 minutes later told that he had escaped. I’m utterly shocked and disappointed to find out that they don’t have anything on their website. I thought that they were going to be posting him as they told me so. I’ve tried as hard as I could if we put over 40 flyers in the neighborhood and tonight, we’re meeting the drone operator. We asked the rescue if they’d be willing to pay for half of this fee because it’s quite expensive and they said they would do that so we were grateful that they’re taking some responsibility in this totally horrible situation. I don’t believe the dog you posted in the video is our Sunny. He has a higher pitched bark 😞🙏🏼

Camp Cocker Rescue it sure looks like him. What is blowing my mind extremely is we found him five years ago as a stray and named him Sunny. His chip is registered to that rescue and that’s who claimed him when he was dropped off at the pound? I reached out to proposal formal adoption or pay any fees to get him back in the day. I sent the email. They called and said they needed help because he had escaped. We’ve been over there the past four days. This is agony. Tonight we meet the drone operator at 8:30 PM. If you don’t mind, do you have that volunteer group contact information? The more bodies we have the better 🙏🏼❤️

Sunny Ghurl excellent approach! One of our skittish rescue dogs had escaped from his foster mom in 2020 and we were blasting it all over our socials, everywhere, getting the word out far and wide to as many people as possible. We also used Dog Days Search & Rescue and their volunteers were frickin' AH-mazing and they were able to find Teebo. At that time, they did not own the heat seeking drone equipment to look for Teebo but after 72 hours, he was captured alive. Thank GAWD! I don't know how he survived with the coyotes. I didn't sleep for 72 hours and was a mess and all of our followers and supporters were aware that this was going on and trying to offer assistance by reposting his picture and his story. Helping us get up bright colored posters, etc. If you contact Dog Days Search and Rescue, they are so lovely and helpful and can give you tips.
