Lisa Donato I know. Its insane! I mean accidents happen, collars and harnesses and leashes can break or come off, but ive seen repeat dogs on here that are lost for the 2nd or 3rd time and I just dint understand. People should treat animals the way they would treat their kid. If your fence has a hole in it the dog can escape through, your kid could escape through it too, fix it or put something in front of it. No dog should be left alone in the yard in the first place cause you just never know. I always have eyes on my dogs when they are in my backyard. They are never unsupervised. When we are out walking or taking a ride they always have a leash and collars. With their name and our numbers on it. We just put airtags on our dogs collars too. I walk around my yard and make sure there are no holes around my fence from them an animal coming into the yard. I have a lock on my gate so no one can just randomly enter and possibly not latch it. I really wish people would take precautions. Like I said accidents do happen, but not more than once, maybe twice. I feel like people should have to take a class or do something mandatory that would show them what could happen if you dont do A or B and just educate people on what they should or shouldn't be doing to keep their animal safe. Most of it is just common sense, but in today's world, that seems to be a rare find. Not trying to make the owner of this dog feel bad, Im just responding to this comment. I've shared the post and pray you get your baby back

Get flyers up in area asap Only way to get sightings Actively search Get a thermal drone to help asap Put flyers in plastic page protectors where opening is at bottom so water doesnt get in Big picture of dog and phone number Put out in front of your house some of the dogs belongings (bed toys blanket) as well as owners dirty clothing for scent (include dirty socks) Ask neighbors to check outdoor cameras Go door to door with flyers

I'm sorry but how did this even happen? Yesterday alone they were over 100 dogs listed as missing from the last couple days alone Even though all of us pet owners were given uncountable warnings about the heat and fireworks and leaving your dogs on attended in yards so why this is still happening? Anyway I'm sending many prayers for this poor little baby and praying that maybe someone picked him up and brought him to a local police station and I'm hoping the owners are on the phone calling all surrounding police departments and that they are out there searching day and night for this poor precious little baby
