Cha Cha's Owner Says

Thank you, I appreciate organizations like this that help reunite or find homes for dogs. I never realized how often dogs become separated from their owners or sadly abandoned. My dog was dropped off at the Humane Society of the White Mountains, 3 hours from my home. She had been gone for 11 days. It is a long story but one I am using as a learning experience. I will be leaving soon to get her and am happy, excited and thankful!

Would it hurt to keep your opinions to yourselves when you don’t know the circumstances of the situation? I know this dog and get excited when I see new comments hoping it’s a lead, but no, it’s just people being people and wasting their time and energy to spread negativity. You’re not helping.

Kelly Kruse Benoit I know, it's sad. I leave the house for 5 minutes, I am still doing a head count before I leave, making sure everyone is safe inside ..ESPECIALLY this time of year with fireworks and thunder.

Leave your clothes hanging outside! The scent can attract your pet back! Please put up posters around your area. Print them on regular paper and put them in sheet protectors to make a poster. Then, post them around the neighborhood. Staple them to telephone poles, tape them to the glass entrances of stores, supermarkets, laundromats, whatever is nearby (get permission first), and whatever else will catch many eyes. You need sightings. State a money reward on your poster as well. Also share this post to other places such as Facebook, Nextdoor, Pawboost, Ring which has a free search service called Search Party, which scans nearby outdoor camera footage for video of your missing dog. (neighbors), Lost&Found, etc. I hope you find your baby!

You need to find a pet tracker in that area. You can find them on Facebook. Some have search dogs some have drones, but be careful because there are plenty of scammers as well.
