Probably poisoned and bleeding out internally thanks to City or County, as is routine in every public parking lot. Illegal to feed them but A-OK to poison every one, migrant bird poisoning a slow unmentioned side effect. 🤬

I found this same pigeon today and gave it water. Still at Exploration Peak Park. If someone who is familiar with rescuing pigeons wants to get them, it was super friendly, I just wasn’t able to grab it. I’m also not from here, just visiting family. I read somewhere to NOT take it to a vet, as they will euthanize it. There looks to be a pigeon rescue group here, so hopefully someone from there can find him and take him! He didn’t seem injured or anything. And I did see someone’s comment above saying that this might be totally normal and it’s a homing pigeon?

It’s not lost it’s a homing pigeon they travel state to state . I used to raise them . I actually caught one the other day and released it it just wanted water and food
