Put out his water and food bowls with strong smelling food, put out your dirty laundry for a scent, blanket, shirt etc. Walk when looking for him to leave a scent trail and walk big circles around your home several times for a scent. He can smell you far away. Contact a dog tracker ASAP!! Check cameras in the area. Put flyers up, give one to your mail carrier, post one at your local convenience store and bring one to the shelter when you go to look for him. Go to the shelter & animal control in person in case he was picked up.
