MESSAGE FROM OWNER

Minho, our young 1 3/4 year-old red-bellied parrot, flew out of our back door as I opened it to let our dog out on Saturday, October 17. So far, he appears to be surviving despite the predators and weather. Minho has a bright orange belly with lime green feathers under his tail and grayish feathers on his head and back. He's a little larger than a blue jay. The most recent report had him seen around noon on Friday, November 27, in a tree with a blue jay and cardinal near the intersection of Summer and Arlington streets in West Acton. We're thinking he and the other birds were waiting their turns to get to a feeder in the back yard of the property next door. He may be roosting in or around buildings at night to keep warm and then eating at bird feeders in nearby neighborhoods. If you see him, please contact us as soon as you can. Thank you for your help.

If he is friendly maybe he is with someone. Prayers that he is warm somewhere.

Yes, regularly. A woman who lost her senegal parrot in Watertown in August said she thought her bird had been caught and was checking this.
