Update: Haven't found the owner, but my coworker who is a vet tech is going to keep him for a bit until we can figure out something for him. I put in an application for a stray surrender to the humane society. I know it takes a bit to get an appt to do that so I'll keep looking for the owner until I can schedule with them. I know if he goes there, he'll hopefully get adopted quickly since he is such a sweet boy. Our guess is that he's been outside a while and he isn't neutered so he might be far from home. I'll post back with any updates. Thank you all for your kindness and suggestions! Its been greatly appreciated!!

Pem Rose I took the collar off but it actually wasn't all that tight. I already have questions lined up to ask them to make sure he goes to his real home. The only thing I can really do is take him to the Humane Society but they go by appt only and it usually takes about a week before one is available. I've checked with every cat rescue I can think of around GR and that is the only option I can find. I'll continue to try to figure something out if I can't find his owner.

Thank you for posting. Please make sure whoever claims this sweet babe has proof of ownership. Would you please loosen the collar or take it off its neck? Is it even a collar? It’s way too tight. Maybe bring this cat to a rescue?
