I'm sorry your furbaby is missing. Best thing to do is put out his favorite bedding, or an empty litterbox he used, to make the outside area smell like home. When moved to a new area, everything will be foreign and scary for him, so he may hide in places like drainage pipes, sewer entrances, bushes, under crawlspaces or decks, inside other peoples' basements if the windows aren't sealed up, etc. Anything cave like. If he's unfamiliar with the area he very well may try to go back to your old house, so I would also check there, too. Cats can and will travel significant distances on their own. I've had a cat travel 6 miles just to get back to where he thought his home was from where we moved to. I hope you find him soon.

Please also notify your vet and vets nearby and in the surrounding area in case your pet is brought in for care. Notify any and all shelters and humane societies as well. I have heard it’s helpful to check shelters daily as possible. Please know we are praying! 🖤
