Message from Owner

I can’t overstate how beloved Lola is to our family. She stepped outside at 10PM on Thurs. July 23rd while my mom prepared her night snack and she simply never came back. She always stays close to home, but there is the possibility that she was chased by a predator. The not knowing is the hardest part, so if anyone has any information please let us know.

Jessica Lalonde try not to focus on the worst. It is an unfortunate reality in many cases. Continue searching and hope for the best.

Susan Stokx Thank you, this is just very unusual because she is a very confident, relaxed cat (she is also huge, larger than, say, a fox) - the opposite of timid and skittish, so the only thing I can imagine is a)a coyote nabbed her, which makes me sick with grief, or she ran and hid from a predator like that?

Please place his bedding 🛏outside, along with the owner's unwashed clothing👚👖 front and back door 🚪with a can of tuna 🐟 on each entrance, you can leave your garage door a bit open as well. In case it comes in that way. And leaving food there as well. Also vacuumed home 🧹dirt in a stocking hanging it in front and back of home🏡 enterence . You can also add some catnip 🌱in a stocking hanging by your entrances. Show your neighbo🖼picture of the cat. Ten houses to the left ten house to the right front and back if they spot him to give you a call☎️ immediately. Go early in the ☀️morning and shake treats calling the cats name when things are quiet.. Tell neighbors to check their sheds and garage.Just in case it's trapped.. Also, you can install a camera 📹to monitor and see if the cat is around your house . Best of luck 🍀finding your kitty 🙏 ❤️🏡🐾

Make sure to get outside right away and begin (continue) the search. All neighbours (circumference) around home 4 + homes on each side, front and back. Ask permission to look on property under decks, shed etc. or ask if they will look. Cats can hide in the smallest nook. The size of a petite closed fist. Flashlight will illuminate eyes in dark nooks. Check garages/sheds and dark spaces. A flashlight instead of overhead lighting in these areas may be more effective. Your sweet cat is most likely not too far. Extend your search to surround area for your own peace of mind. Contact your local Animal Services/SPCA/Humane Society and file a “lost report”. When a cat is found many will file a “Found Report “. Here are some helpful tools. Don’t wait, there is often great results when you act quickly. http://catsinthebag.org/
