Sabrina Espinoza when what we're doing isn't working we have to look at what we're not doing and maybe try that. More of what doesn't work typically doesn't bring the results we're looking for. Most people that comment in the posts are trying to be supportive and share your post but ultimately what works the best on day one is posting on neighbors by ring and next door and putting a reward with an amount. Those are the dogs that are returned the quickest. Chihuahuas are a fan favorite for people in the neighborhood to pick up and keep. People that want to keep a pet don't have integrity and they're not going to return the pet just because. Lots of people say put up more flyers put up more flyers but a thief isn't going to come forward suddenly because there are more flyers up in the neighborhood. Nice people return a dog or post a dog looking for the owners. Thieves and people with no integrity see it as finders keepers. If that is what's going on you have to speak their language appeal to their greed. If you've been putting Flyers up without a reward amount then you need to do Flyers with a reward on them and a big clear photo of your dog and your phone number.

Sabrina Espinoza focus should be on neighbors by Ring app and next door. Owners need to be on both posting three times a day! And since what you're doing isn't working I would add a reward in the very first sentence put the amount people don't pay attention to the word reward only.

Put a sign in your front yard with picture and your phone number. Put signs everywhere. Put signs on your car and drive around. Tell neighborhood kids, mailmen, trash truck drivers, police. Go door to door with animals picture. Put a piece of your clothing outside to draw animal. Go walking after dark with flashlights. Prayers and good luck. Go to humane society, pounds, etc every day in person. Don't just call there. They get busy and might miss your animal. Grill something outside for the aroma. If you have another dog, walk with it outside.
