Chucky 's Owner Says

Thanks everyone, especially Joe who helped me get Chucky out from under the duplex nextdoor. He only answered my calls on Sunday but nothing until today, from a different area. So glad to have him back. He's dehydrated and a bit disoriented but I'm sure he'll be fine soon 😻🙋🙏💕

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Mainly their litter box and sprinkle their used litter around the yard as they'll recognize the smell and it'll deter other animals from coming around. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one and to check their cameras in case they appeared on them to get a sense of direction they could be. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.

My pleasure and good luck ❤️ The flyers everywhere and walking the immediate few blocks from you after dark or early am is key 😊

Liz Pereira thank you. I have posted on other platforms. I've been calling him to eat several times a day outside. I have other cats and we're all concerned. 😾

Please post flyers in your neighborhood, for at least a 3-block radius, and walk the neighborhood in early morning and after dark; talk to your neighbors and any workers in the neighborhood, let everyone know he’s missing. Be relentless. Keep up the in-person shelter search as often they don’t post all intakes online/phone calls might yield inaccurate information... Post on PawBoost, CL, NextDoor, etc. Make sure chip info is updated. Most importantly, keep talking to him in your head, tell him he is so missed and you’re looking for him and please come home. Visualize your reunion constantly and put out positive energy 😊 I hope this all helps, it has worked for me in a seemingly impossible situation ❤️
