Message from Owner

REWARD Please please help. My African grey chewed thru my screened in patio on the 4-10. He's not familiar with anything but inside the hse and the patio. I've had him 23 years. He's the light of my life. He's gotten me thru so many devastating life events. His name is Tamba. He's very skittish so it's best not to try to catch him or approach him. Please text or call me at Cheryl H. (I'm aware there are scammers out there) preying on desperate people trying to find their pets. Don't bother ❤️Blessed be to each and every one of you who take the time to help find my baby. ❤️

Cheryl we are sorry to hear that Tamba is still not home. May we offer some more tips to get the word out even more? Have you had a chance to look through the Resource page that Mindy commented above? **Be sure to put lots of fliers in heavily populated areas i.e. SCHOOLS! stores, bus stops, parks. Lots of humans mean help** ***Put posters of your missing Bird in your house windows, front yard, on your vehicles*** ****to get the word out even more, when it's dark out and you can no longer search, you can also **Google map** your address to see what businesses there are locally. ANY business i.e. restaurants, tattoo places, salons, bars, churches etc. zoom in and out on the map to see these places. 1. Click on any to see if they have a website, if they do go there, use the "contact us" options first to notify them of your lost/found Bird. 2. If there isn't a website or "contact us" option see if they have a Facebook group/page/profile, if they do: Use the "message" option first, if they don't have a "message" option try to join the group to post directly on their FB page. **FaceBook** search for your town/city/county/area for local FB pages/groups ie MEDIA, COMMUNITY, Mom groups, for sale-garage sale, vets, shelters, rescues, whatever pages/groups that come up. ***ALSO join local Bird watching groups *****With the strict rules on FB now, try not to join a lot of groups at once. Trying to join to many groups at once will land you in FB jail, if you can get your family & friends who have a FB profile to help you do this** **Fliers which can be placed anywhere **except** IN a mailbox, fliers can also be emailed to Staples, Office Max etc. to have them print it out in bulk** ***PLEASE CHECK WITH LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTERS / VETS & FILE A MISSING PET REPORT*** shared to Avian Alert and TENNESSEE LOST AND FOUND BIRDS PARROTS

Kathryn Wigington it's been so cold the last two nights and probably tonite. I have his roommate an Amazon who he always mimicked so I'd been putting their sleeping cages out there and playing wild African grey vocals. I've put those flyers up and I was calling almost every day. I've been thru the neighborhood and there's no sign of him. I took out featured Pawboost FB alert and Instagram alert. He's been gone 9 days today. He's not socialized, he'd never go to anyone. He gets spooked very easily. My Amazon doesn't Thank you for your tip I'm soooo glad you got your baby back ❤️

I lost my amazon for 9 days many years ago. Go outside and call for him. That’s what I did for hours and hours and I got her back!
