Neutered male, approx. 7 lbs, was on Thyroid meds. Now would be 15 years old. Note: His paw pads are speckled. ********MY HEART IS BROKEN******** AT ALMOST 3 YEARS OF LOSING MY DESMOND BECAUSE MY ROOMMATE LET HIM OUTSIDE ON PURPOSE, ON JAN 12, 2022, I AM OFFICIALLY GIVING UP MY SEARCH. THE CHANGES PAWBOOST HAS MADE TO THEIR SITE ARE NO LONGER HELPING ME. I FIND IT IMPOSSIBLE TO NAVIGATE THE SITE EFFECTIVELY. I ALSO BELIEVE MY CAT IS LIKELY DECEASED AND I HAVE GIVEN UP. I BELIEVE MY NEIGHBOR DID SOMETHING TO HIM. I AM FOREVER BROKEN BY MY LOSS OF MY SWEET, FUNNY, HANDSOME DESMOND. I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU.

Dear guardian...I'm so sorry you haven't found your sweet baby...continue checking the shelter's in your area in person weekly and online daily 🐱💜. I've used this family owned company and always happy I did: https://lostpetcards.com/ . They will send POSTCARDS to the closest 1000 residence within 2 days via USPS. It’s pricey but worth it. I’ve used this service 3 times - once for a cat missing for weeks after getting lost the same day she was rehomed (from another city) and we needed to spread the word as quickly as possible to all the neighbors as we came onto the case weeks after kitty was missing. Someone spotted her after a week of receiving the postcards. We received several calls some were false sightings so it’s important to include on the postcard “Please take a photo and call if you THINK you see my cat”. The other 2 times I received sightings within a week as well, though one was found within the block (and I’d already flyered door to door on the block) The way it works is you submit a form online, then someone will email you asking to confirm info, then they will send you a draft postcard and show you the zone that USPS will cover based on original location (they’ll show you on a map) 2 days later POSTCARDS will be delivered to the nearest 1000 neighbors, including apts and businesses (1000 is the minimum) at the cost is $650 – be sure to use the same wording as in the FLYER TEMPLATE you can download on this site (www.happycatlady.com). 💜🐱🙏

💖🐱Dear guardian 💖🐱 Cats will remain for months and months doing their best to survive…don’t give up on your furry baby - we are all praying for you...don't give up...Replace worn flyers and Put up more flyers a few blocks out in all direction ...I encourage you to talk to your neighbors AGAIN to remind them your kitty is still missing and that you need their help to keep an eye out and ask a neighbor to report your kitty is lost on the RING camera network... Every morning I get texts from people who find their cats while calling for them after 10pm at night..please continue to call for your cat and/or make that noise that kitty is familiar with whether it's keys jingling or treat bag crinkles or simply your calm voice ...it may seem hopeless to do this but I am telling you everything you do helps! cover all possibilities: Check nearby shelter ONLINE DAILY and IN PERSON weekly (some cats are NOT posted online at the shelters!) Deliver updated flyers to each residence starting with your block and expanding outward 2 blocks in all directions...Continue to use your motion activated wifi camera pointed at wet food and water bowl daily. If you don't have one - I emplore you to get one and put out food/water every day... So many cases guardians are ready to give up then they finally put the camera out there (whether wifi to your phone or WILD LIFE camera with batteries no wifi) and after some days or a week they will Spot their cat - after being gone for weeks or months...spotting kitty eating the food changes everything and so many people discover this with the camera - then sometime they have to TRAP their cat because kitty is in survival mode and hides even from their guardian...cats are survivors and once they are back inside at home, they go back to being sweet cozy loving kitty. I didn't know about using cameras 1st year I was helping people and now I use it in every case (for disabled or seniors who can't walk around) it's a HUGE help and again this is to cover all possibilities... FLYERS all over the neighborhood and going door to door to talk to neighbors is KEY in spreading the word to the exact people who COULD spot her! Wishing you LOVE and HOPE and unwavering DETERMINATION🐱🐱🙏💖

Dear guardian...please...don't assume someone has him...re-plaster your neighborhood with flyers...talk to your neighbors and every night (and days) call for him throughout ...set your alarm...call for him in a NORMAL CALM voice...Please re-read my original long post for exactly what to do...Lost cat Jiji was found after 4 months! Lost cat Clementine was spotted on day 29 from a neighbor who had a flyer and Clementine's human knocked on her door...engage your neighbors...don't stop searching...don't give up...set your alarm 11pm, 1am and 3am, 5am and walk and call for him gently....also check with animal care & control ...they should have your lost cat flyer - ask for their email...praying for you both xoxoxox

DON’T LOSE HOPE. 'Lost cat' JiJi was came home after being lost for 4 MONTHS! Cats don't go far they remain near......Do not give up. Do NOT give up searching and late night calling out for kitty and keep posting online...keep talking-to neighbors...distribute updated/flyers or notes to your neighbors and update your flyers posted UP around your neighborhood...I'm glad you've re-posted...please do not lose hope.. continue looking for your sweet kitty every day / night....continue to spread the word online AND IN PERSON ...put up flyers around your neighborhood (Place inside sheet protectors with open flap facing downward so they don't get ruined by weather) Print more flyers and knock on neighbors doors today to remind folks that your cat is still missing and that you need their help to spot kitty....Talking to neighbors and distributing flyers at every resident around your block and further out in your neighborhood is a huge help. At night set your alarm and walk around gently calling for kitty in a CALM normal voice...crinkle treats if that's a sound he's used to...Please consider aiming a camera in the direction of where you leave food out...sometimes cats remain near but are in survival mode and won't come inside and need to be coaxed...Lost cat 'Luna' was spotted on camera after being 'lost' for several weeks, her human was shocked to learn Luna was visiting the backyard regularly late night and would come back inside (she was leaving the backdoor open for her) We thought she was stuck at a neighbors which happens all the time...and it was the help of the camera which helped her human learn about the different cats that would visit and other animals...she eventually spotted her 'live' in her backyard (she did a stake out just inside with a baby monitor) and was able to lure her back inside with food after several hours late night. I'm not saying this is your situation ...I'm saying that you can't rule anything out...this is why I advise cat guardians to try different ways of taking action...talking to neighbors..flyers...online...setting alarm late night to call for kitty...sometimes collars fall off ..check the shelter weekly … everything you do helps...you can buy a wild life camera or a camera that sends live feed to your phone motion sensitive- you an buy on amazon 1 day shipping...wishing you sustained determination and hope....praying you are reunited with your sweet kitty soon..
