Please don't assume that your dog was taken and quit looking. You need to actively continue to look for your dog. Was your dog wearing a collar? Is your dog microchipped? Have you checked all area shelters in person starting with DACC? Put signs up all over your neighborhood that say something simple like "missing white lab" and your phone number. You have to have your phone number on the signs. This way people can call you immediately. If anyone calls you or sends you a text message stating that they have your dog, but will not tell you where unless you send money, that is a scam. Never send anyone money.
