I don't understand how dogs go missing… What happened to fences and leashes? Please search for a reputable tracker immediately. It's nighttime and the dog has been out in the heat with no water and no food and the sooner they're found the better --- so get a tracker. Take photos door-to-door and ask each person to check their doorbells and cameras for sightings - keep going house after house, neighborhood after neighborhood, and don't stop. Take a physical map with you and mark location, date and time as you might see a pattern --- share all sightings with the tracker immediately. Send flyers to all vets and pet stores ... start with a 30 to 35 mile radius and increase it 2 to 5 miles every day of absence. Remember, your baby doesn't have food and water that it's been used to receiving from you. It only has one way to find it and that's through scent; so think of where your dog might smell and be led to find food and particularly water. Hang out unwashed clothing, your dog's bedding anything that will blow in the breeze because your dog will pick up the scent far away where we wouldn't even notice. Call ALL rescue groups especially those specific to your dog's breed. Ask them for help searching. Go to the shelters using the same radius -- beginning with 30 to 35 miles and adding 5 miles every day to incorporate new shelters. You must visit every single day looking for your baby!! the shelters in Georgia are just overflowing with Pets. You need to be searching constantly and you need to be checking those shelters. Because of the overflow, they do not hold dogs very long. If your precious pup were to be adopted from a shelter, they will not give you any information or help you get your baby back. That's why I say go every day. So, maybe get some friends and family to help you. I'm sharing because getting this post viral on your Facebook page could very well help! Also, post on your next-door app. The more shares just means the more eyes looking and watching. Prayers your baby is found quickly.
