Several weeks ago, this beautiful dachshund puppy appeared in my neighborhood and no one recognized him. I've made every effort to locate his owner without success. As much as I'd love to keep him, I can't do so long-term. I'm hoping to find a kind and responsible person who can offer him a forever home. ✉️: I'm glad to send more pictures.

I can adopt! I had raised 8 doxies from birth to their passing. I have 3 rescues now but not doxies. My last chicken just passed away.

It is illegal to rehome a found dog. This is someone’s pet. Please take this dog to DeKalb County Shelter. Many people are not on social media and will look to the shelter for lost pets. If it is not reunited with owner a rescue will pull it into foster care. Adoption applicants will be carefully screened.
