He is an indoor cat, saw him on Sunday, when I first attempted a rescue but was on foot and unable to get them both out. Went back on Monday to resume on my ebike because Autumn Lane fire was headed to us but could only find his sister, it was like he hadn't been there since I left last, It baffled me, he has to be outside somewhere.

He is looking for you black cats travel at night more than yellow cats the owl thing yellow and light colored cats are up all day sleep nights black cats sleep days and move at night he may been there hiding they are smart and he is scared and knows no one can see him at night black cats hide in the dark if he ain't been there he will be looking for you go back again with the trailing clothes he will follow the scent the most worn stinkiest clothes of your stink of course you can find give him good strong scent to follow and go slow trailing them in dirt behind you or just behind you it works

Males will go farther try riding your bike slow with you most wore clothes and socks trailing behind in the dirt leaving a trail of your scent cats can smell other cats and the people for up to 2 miles and can follow your scent for a long ways it is pretty good chances of working take your time stop a lot and go like you are running in frount of the fire that's way he went probably unless is no fire yet then he is tom catting around and will be back
