Message from Owner

Houdini, was a rescue cat my mum and dad decided to take on with what we assumed was his sister. Houdini was the most relaxed cat id seen ever but he was also the most cuddliest, he would hide under my duvet and curl up by my legs, he'd lay with his special Christmas gonk on the guinea pig cage. However houdini is an adventurer and dont get me wrong I know some cat are but hes been gone for so long its started to worry me more, I haven't seen him. I miss him very much and id just appreciate a bit of help,

Post on Nextdoor and Ring apps. Ask neighbors to check car hoods, garages and sheds immediately. Make sure to tap hoods of the car around. Keep an entryway open for cat to get in. Buy or loan a live cat trap from online stores or local tnr groups. Leave your garage open with cat to enter. Put some food and your clothing there for smell. Get a motion sensor camera to detect when cat is around your property

Please follow this advice asap really hope your cat comes home soon safe and sound x Try to search by thinking of your home as centre of a circle and call your cat from the edges. Call, listen carefully, rattle treats etc, then move slowly towards home, stop, repeat, and do this several times until you're home. This could guide your cat back in the right direction. Take a strong torch and check carefully under hedges etc. Door knock with leaflets during the day and check sheds etc, empty buildings yourself as your cat should come to you. ALWAYS CHECK SHEDS, BUSHES, GARDENS, YARDS ETC YOURSELF. Your cat may hide from others. ps only call on roads late night or early hours when it's safer for cats best of luck
