Message from Owner

Lost in Angus Valley on July 24th. She doesn't have a collar on because it irritates her neck leaving a ring that's growing back. Super friendly but will be very skiddishish and scared at first. Very quiet meows but purrs very loudly. No microchip that works in FL, originally adopted in GA. Just lost my dog last month due to cancer shes the only baby I have left. Roommate left the door open when I was out of town.

Microchip -;call the company and update your contact information. It doesn't matter if the chip was inserted in ga. they work in all states.

Robin Adler Bresin - that's a myth and frowned upon in the rescue groups - it attracts predators and other cats to the area, the scent of a stranger will prevent the cat from coming home.

Knock on neighbours doors and put out flyers everywhere. Do offer rewards. Also go out in the night. You can hear him better then. Check the pounds too. Airtags on collars help greatly.

Even though the microchip was inserted in Georgia, call the microchip company and change the info to your current address and contact info in Florida. Give them your vet's information, report the cat missing.

Refrain from putting a soiled litter box outside, it will attract predators, coyotes and other feral cats to the area. Coyotes can pick up the concentrated odor from 1 to 5 miles away.

Go around late at night calling them with food and flashlight to catch their eyes. Check around your neighborhood under houses and in small places where they may hide. Put stuff out that has yours and their scent on it. Hang flyers around for people to see. Check shelters and vets daily. Update chip info if they have a chip and its has not been update since a move. Ask neighbors to check in their garages incase they ended up trapped in one. I pray you get your baby back safe and soon.
