Try posting on your local nextdoor app, lost. petcolove. org and watching Craigslist.🤞 Also try putting out unwashed laundry and some stinky shoes and hopefully your pet will smell it's way back home. DO NOT put out your pet's bedding out because it can attract predators where your scent will scare predators off but still attract your pet. If it comes down to it, try renting or borrowing a trap from the shelter. Putting up cameras may help too. If you are able, leave the door or window open a crack while you are there. BEWARE of scammers saying they found your pet and want you to email them or send them a code. They will also tell you to text or connect through Instagram to a certain group that helped them find their pet. DON'T do it! It's a scam.

I have been rescuing and rehoming pets for 30 years… I can tell you if you will go out during the quiet hours of the evening and call out for her. Give her time to trust her surroundings and come to you… Don’t rush the situation because you want to stay in one area for at least 5 to 1015 maybe even minutes because depending on where she is… You want her to be able to trust before she comes to you… Cats can smell up to a mile away so also set her litter box and an article of your clothing outside

Post flyers… they work a lot better than social media. Most people that are on the missing Pet sites are only on them because they have either lost a pet or found a pet so you truly do reach more people if you use flyers… Check at crawlspaces old buildings old cars anything that they will try to find to hide in… If you live in apartment complex find out if there has been any work done where they may have left the doors open for a little while most apartment complex do you have crawl areascheck all of those but flyers do work Best is she micro chipped?

I am so sorry about your Kitty being lost. Put the Owner's worn clothes outside all around the house. Kitties don't go far, but they do hide a lot. When it is quiet and darker, go out and shake her food bowl and treat bag and hopefully she will hear it and come out. Talk quietly to her like you would if she was inside - yelling can scare them, though this is what we want to do because we want them HOME!! Knock on doors. Someone may have taken your Kitty in so she/he doesn't get hurt. Also ck with your Neighbors and ck their storage areas, sheds, etc. I know of a Kitty who was found in a storage room that had only been open for 5 mins. Put out flyers everywhere - stores, intersections, etc., and put the info on your car windows so that it gets the info out to more people. Use multiple actions to find your Pet...using only one may limit your success in getting your Kitty Home.
