Message from Owner

This is my fur baby, I am a grown woman who has no real human babies so my missing cat Leo is my emotional support friend I found as a baby kitten. I raised him and his twin brother from little kittens. I cry and wait for his safe return every day and it's hard to not let go and keep on keeping on. I am not originally from this area and I was desperately homesick when I found him and his brother. His twin also misses him! It's Soo quiet and lonely here without my baby to cuddle every night. And without his zoomies out of nowhere and him yowling really loud in the hse, not using his "inside" voice, when he will make sure I wake up on his terms to feed him and his automatic water fountain he loves. He is an indoor and outdoor cat and he is still intact. Anyways, I love and miss my Leo and I also wanted to add that I am a Marine's little sister and I am also dating a Disabled American Veteran who is Leo's human daddy and Leo's dad misses him too! I also would like his body brought home to be buried and a celebration of his life if it has to come to that! In tears, losing hope, Thank you to Everyone who takes the time to care and read this and thank you sooo much for anyone who looks for my Leo and remembers him and looks for him, from the bottom of my breaking heart and thank you to all who pray for my baby's safe return home! I'm trying to "embrace the " anyone who has been in the military or hard times should understand that last part! Trying to stay happy and keep smiling! ~Leslie G. ; )

My indoor only male black cat got out once. We put out all the scents. Old blankets, our unwashed clothes, his scratch post, his empty dirty litter box, vacuum dust etc. My nextdoor neighbor would see him trying to return during the day while we were at work. Then get scared and run off into nearby woods. I started setting my alarm for 3am while it was quiet and go out calling him. Finally after 5 days I heard him crying in very thick bushes Nextdoor to our house. I saw his eyes with my flashlight. I had to literally crawl to get him. He was like afraid to move. I finally got him . They usually don’t travel far. They will hunker down close by.

Try this once you realize is missing many times daily: Look under cars and bushes. Search in a different direction from where lost ea night. Walk neighborhood while shaking an open bag of Temptation treats (a must for success) as you call her/his name softly, very softly. Also bring a flashlight with you and look on trees, high up in case kitty was chased and climbed up. The eyes will beam like headlights when light is on them. IMPORTANT TO HAVE THE ""TREATS"" & ""FLASHLIGHT"" 🔦 (yr phone might work). Get low on the ground if you see kitty, so not to scare away. 🙏🏻🙏🏻 Have these treats for this to work!! Bring kitty's blanket for scent purposes. 🔶️ Bring someone with you do not walk alone late at night, preferably someone kitty likes.🔶️ ♦️♦️CHECK YR LOCAL SHELTER IN CASE IT WAS PICKED UP BY ANIMAL CONTROL OR A NEIGHBOR BROUGHT IN FOR ROAMING. ♦️♦️
