We were looking for my mother in laws Shih Tzu who is missing in Cottonwood and my wife saw a really small, matted, Maltese looking dog in Fairpark Village. Could be your dog. She said it had a collar. She tried to get him multiple times, but he took off every time.

Glad you didn't go to BARC. He's at my house. I'm fostering for RPM, Rescued Pets Movement. RPM works with BARC to place dogs in other states. Between the time a dog leaves BARC and the time they are loaded on the vans to go to Colorado, they are fostered here in Houston. I've let RPM know our situation. I think it's very rare when the local owner is found so not everyone is sure what to do to have the correct paperwork. There is a request now in to the supervisor to see what to do next. I know how excited you must be. I was torn between waiting until I had a complete clearance from RPM or contacting you sooner. I chose to contact you and now we both have to wait.
