Marianne Whitlock they escaped that yard and animal control was out looking for them. They caught them and the shelters are completely full . So animal control Called true friends and they were very kind and just so happened to have room. They are safe because of animal control . So please stop bashing animal control. If they have no where to take the animals and the shelters are full maybe people need to step up and help foster or maybe people need to be more aware of where their dogs are. We are in a crisis and people just keep dumping and or their dogs are out running. People need to be more responsible . And griffin pond takes as many animals as they can house . If they don’t have kennels what are they suppose to do. People just assume things and that’s not right. And people need to just be kind and help instead of bashing . SMH no one knows what the shelters or animal control, the dog warden or humane officer deal with every day 24 hours a day. Animal control does get off duty and deserves it as well

Marianne Whitlock You’re wrong . The Scranton police and single Sac humane officer worked the entire day to secure the dogs. The single , lone animal control officer safely secured them in her vehicle so Maybe you should stfu unless you want to be the one putting yourself in the middle of potentially dangerous situations every day . The dogs were transported where kennels were available. You have absolutely no idea what arrangements were made , between who and why so until you do , keep your stupid , uninformed mouth shut .

Nancy Reese please elaborate. The dogs were secured in a random yard. Why are they in Montrose?

Joe Fiorini Scranton animal control will come full speed to pick up a Yorkie. TRUE friends Came from Montrose to get them. I just donated $100 to them. Glad they stepped up. Scranton and Griffon Pond are jokes.
