Please forward this message to the owner Here is how we got our cat back. I just gave this information to a woman that lost her cat. She put the humane trap out and heated beef broth. The cat was home within 24 hours. Please get a humane trap place the trap where the cat escaped from. Put the stinkiest cat food inside the trap cover of the trap with a towel or blanket. You do this at night, heat beef, broth, or chicken broth pour it from the trap around your house. The cats going to be hungry, smell the broth and go into the trap. Talk to your neighbors. Do they have the ring doorbell? Do they see your cat moving around? also check with your neighbors in their garages and sheds the cat could be hiding in either one. Believe me this really works my cat was missing for eight weeks until I found information on YouTube lost cat Detective Kimberly Freeman. Kimberly gave the best information on how to find my lost indoor cat.

Try a live trap, they are fairly cheap, my Jane wanted to come back but was too overwhelmed and scared, she had made a home under a backyard shed across the street. Eventually she was found eating hamburger in the trap on my front porch and all was right again. It took about 3 weeks for her to show up. Tuna in oil also makes a lot of scent. If its cold out, wrap the trap in a blanket and make sure to check it often. I believe in Jane's case, the live trap was her only chance. Best of luck and a swift resolve for you I hope

If normally an indoor cat, then kitty is likely hiding real close to home. They tend to freeze in place and may not come out if you call their name. Use a flashlight to look in, under, behind all dark spaces so that their eyes glow. You can do this during the day, but especially at night when things are quieter. Check inside the house as well just in case. Look up in trees in case kitty climbed up to escape another animal. Put some of your dirty laundry and the cat’s bedding outside for the scent. Leave a door cracked open so they can get back inside. Set up trail cameras outside and use a humane trap that you can buy at a hardware store or borrow from a rescue. Ask neighbors to check garages and sheds. Hang LOST signs in your area. Post on Nextdoor app, Ring app, area facebook pages, and lost and found facebook pages. Make sure microchip information is accurate. Check local animal shelters in person.

Try putting your kitty dirty litter box outside or something that smells like your kitty so she can smell her way home. If you have a garage try leaving it cracked open enough for the kitty to come inside. Also try putting a smelly can of tuna or cat food outside. Cats hide in bushes, under decks, under vehicles and in sewers when they are scared. If you go out at night and shine a flashlight, your cats eyes will glow when you shine it in her eyes. Let your neighbors know your kitty is missing incase they see the kitty. **Also check local shelters daily!!!! **Also beware of Scammers!! I hope you find your kitty soon. 💜🐾🙏
